Beanie's Big Brother Betting Bonanza

dale.jpgWhat happens when someone (Trickrick) suggests Big Brother 9's, Dale can't win? I'll tell you. Beanie dives in to set him straight:

"I can easily see a Dale win Trick - I didn't see anywhere he could turn it round after Jen went - looked far too dim, a bit too aware of the cameras and how he's perceived, and always coming across badly in arguments. He has come full circle though - a lot more laid back, getting really involved in the house, and for me the two most important factors are both the help he has been getting from the producers (possibly another poignant Dale moment to end on tonight...will be interestiing to see if its included) and he is very popular in the house, possibly the most popular, and is in very little danger of being up before finals night.

For most people, the damage done by his entry VT and 4 weeks of being a complete bore would be irrepairable, but those rules never apply to the teenybopper eye candy, who get every chance to redeem themselves. Anthony came through a house of huge characters to win by just being one of the lads - as I say I didn't think Dale had anywhere near enough personality to repeat that, but he's looking like he has potential and is getting a helping hand...and in a year where all the market leaders have fairly big question marks against them, and with fairly modest ratings, the 'default winner' becomes a big possibility in my opinion."

Big Brother 9 Betting

Big Brother 9 seems mighty popular for betting huh? I haven't watched any of it but I don't need to and neither do you. We can simply let other people endure the torture then swoop in and nick their tips like a seagull stealing a hotdog. As usual, Beanie is heavily into the betting so let's see what he's up to in the outright market. Yesterday he had this to say:

Rex @ 16.5

Just for a quick trade - expect his price to trade towards 12's on Friday night when he should get a good cheer and boost from Jen going...not sure of long term potential tho.

Dale @ 44/Stuart @ 60

Jen going has the potential to completely reverse the fortunes of these two - it'll take some doing and I doubt Dale has the brainpower to pull it off, but if any of the longer odds shots are going to rally and become contenders, its these two, not only because of Jen going, allowing them to come out of the shadow of the contrived romance storyline, but also as they can corner a big portion of the voting market just by becoming likeable.

Mikey @ 19.5

I don't really like him but he's fading into the background just now, so should coast through quite a few more weeks without further damage, and price looks a touch big.

Of the others, Kat still too short despite the drift, Luke needs Rebecca and probably Mario to go before he can reverse his fortunes, and they should go before him so thats possible, but I think his price will go out before coming in again, can't see Rachel winning this at all, forget the rest really.
