I
nteresting little number this from Cyprus and some welcome relief from the usual Eurovision fare. At least in the beginning. Ultimately however, it doesn't really hold together as a contender for me.

One of the main drawbacks, as you'll quickly notice by watching the above video: her voice is incredibly shaky and out of tune. It's bad. It's real bad in fact. Don't believe me? Go have a listen. This woman's voice is fatal. She's holding you back Cyprus.

But let's get back to the song for a minute. It starts off quite playfully. I don't know what that fellow is playing with but it's very, very small and very plinky. It made me chortle. Then her voice hits my lugs and throws me a little. Well a lot. She's ruined the little plinky thing with her horrid singing! Suddenly a rock guitar kicks in from nowhere and I thought this was about to become something great despite her voice but alas, it was 3 seconds long and I don't recall it ever showing up again. All the while I longed for it right in my face. In my face, baby! Yeah! They didn't deliver.

This had potential for sure but it's never realised. Very sad. It's the Eoin Jess of Eurovision this year. More dirty guitar, less horrid singing - it may have been close. Paddy Power now at 100/1 though from 50/1. Worth a quid and a prayer that she can sort that singing out on the night. Bitch.
