2.20 Quarry Town @ 10.00 e/w Tank Top @ 13.00 e/w
Quarry Town: Dual novice hurdle winner for Henrietta Knight who turned in best effort on latest start (second run in handicap) when fourth to Pocket Aces at Kempton; since switched to David Pipe and well worth a try over this trip; interesting runner in open event.

Tank Top: From stable going well in recent weeks and this one has improved steadily with each outing; well worth a try over this trip and, although more needed for handicap debut, no surprise to see him go well in open event.

2.50 Something Silver @ 7.2
Won over extended 2m5f over hurdles at this course and run to a similar level over fences this term; should be suited by step back up in trip but has had a couple of very hard races of late and tougher task from this 5lb higher mark.

3.25 Never So Blue @ 7.6 Mouftari @ 17.00 e/w
Never So Blue: Took advantage of favourable chasing mark when winning first four over fences but remains to be seen how (or if) confidence has been affected after falling on last two starts; reverts back to hurdles on a reasonable mark and couldn´t rule out if back to best.

Mouftari: Patchy form over hurdles since winning in September 2006 but returned to winning ways when landing 3m chase off 112 at Limerick last time; 3lb higher returned to hurdles and wouldn´t be without a chance if that can be reproduced.

4.00 Lysander @ 6.2 Jimmy Bond @ 12.00 e/w
Lysander: Much better over hurdles than fences and best effort to beat subsequent winner and reliable yardstick Sparkling Taff in convincing fashion at Bangor; 9lb higher but may well be capable of better and another interesting runner. Jimmy Bond: Notched fifth chase win (and second over C&D) when beating only two finishers in first time cheekpieces here last time; only 2lb higher but, although ground shouldn´t be a problem, is arguably better in deeper ground and tougher task in this stronger race.

4.35 Pagan Starprincess @ 8.80
Useful hurdler who had La Vecchia Scuola just over 12 adrift when second to subsequent winner in Kelso Grade 2 on penultimate start and in process of running well in first time cheekpieces when falling at final hurdle (behind Binocular) in Aintree Grade 1 latest; interesting on handicap debut.
Racing Post

5.10 Kerry Lads @ 3.00
Advancing in years but retains all ability judging on defeat of Elvis Returns (only one to give subsequent National winner Comply Or Die a race in the Eider in February) in November; got tired in bad ground here only run since but conditions should suit better and the pick of the weights; should go close.
Racing Post

5.45 Just Amazing @ 6.8
Capable of better off this mark though didn´t maintain progress upped to 2m6f latest; handles this ground and gone well for rider in the past so well worth another chance back in trip with tongue tie on.
