I paper traded laying every horse selection from the punterslounge last night (not here, too much respect for the stattos). I back dated it over a few weeks and found I wouldve made a nice profit .

For a while I've been laying the Racing Post Naps Comp on the basis that for 40 years they have lost mountains of cash. It's true you WILL make money from it, but you need a huge bank to do it and you could be waiting 40 years to see the benefit. The big downfall to laying them is you'll often see 4 selections in one race (50 tipsters), meaning that although the overall table is showing a loss, individual races can really hurt you. I've had a few bad days on there that when looked at simplistically should've returned a profit.. not the case.. im sticking to laying punters.

The sad truth is that punters generally lose money, the more bets you take the more likely it is you'll end up winning. There was one meeting on there that would've returned a loss and about 16 that would've made me loads.
